JACOBS FOUNDATION

Through a collaboration with the Jacobs Foundation, Margherita Malanchini and the CoDE Lab are advancing research to better understand how genetic, psychological, and environmental factors shape children’s learning, behaviour, and development. This work focuses on the overlap between neurodevelopmental conditions and disruptive behaviour disorders, exploring how these profiles influence educational outcomes and child development.

By combining insights from large-scale international research with a focus on real-world impact, the collaboration aims to identify the protective environments and intervention targets that help children and young people thrive. Together, the Jacobs Foundation and the CoDE Lab are working to generate evidence that supports more inclusive education, informs policy and practice, and improves outcomes for children, families, and educators.
