The Indonesian Government Scholarship, called Beasiswa Pendidikan Indonesia
(BPI), is a prestigious national scholarship funded by the Ministry of Education,
Culture, Research and Technology in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia. It is one of Indonesia’s flagship scholarship schemes to develop future academic leaders, providing full funding for degree programmes from undergraduate to doctoral level at leading universities in Indonesia and abroad, primarily for lecturers, teachers, cultural practitioners and high-achieving students. Under this programme, Nurul receives a full scholarship as a university lecturer to pursue her postgraduate studies in the UK; the award provides comprehensive financial support for her studies and academic development. The overall aim is to strengthen the quality, capacity and international networks of Indonesian higher education.
