About me
Selena is a London Interdisciplinary Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership (LISS DTP) 1+3 funded student, currently completing an MSc in Developmental Psychology and Psychopathology at King's College London before beginning her PhD at Queen Mary University of London. She received her BSc (Hons) in Psychology from QMUL, where she completed a placement year as a Research Assistant at CoDE Lab, contributing to a meta-analysis and randomised controlled trial of mathematics interventions, as well as a research project exploring young adults' thoughts and attitudes during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her PhD will investigate how education-related non-cognitive skills influence health inequalities across the life course, with a particular focus on the genetic and epigenetic mechanisms underlying these associations.
