About me

Sophie is a PhD student in Psychology at Queen Mary University of London’s School of Biological and Behavioural Sciences, where she is supervised by Dr. Margherita Malanchini. She began her PhD in October 2025, but first joined CoDE Lab the previous year during her MSc in Developmental Psychology and Psychopathology at King’s College London. During her MSc, Sophie completed her dissertation and placement under the supervision of Professor Robert Plomin, where she explored the relationship between prosocial behaviour and a polygenic general psychopathology factor. Her PhD research focuses on the combined impact of neurodevelopmental and disruptive behavioural disorders on educational outcomes.
